Quite possibly one of the most beautiful hikes in the world, in 2003 the Skerwink was ranked by Travel & Leisure Magazine as one of the top trails in North America and Europe.
The trail is a moderate to difficult 5.3-km loop coastal trail featuring spectacular views of sea stacks, whales, icebergs, and eagles, as well as the communities of Port Rexton and Trinity. Don’t expect to hike quickly once you reach the coast.
At every step, there’s a sea stack, a beach or a rugged cliff face to wow your senses. You could easily spend the day here photographing the beauty of Mother Nature at its best.
Driving time from the Clarenville Inn to Skerwink Trail is 53 beautiful minutes.
